Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Leeds (Travel Required)

About the Role:
Deliver commissioning, maintenance, service, testing, and fault diagnosis of critical infrastructure systems. Provide technical support on-site and remotely, ensuring systems meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, and test all installed systems
  • Carry out live working procedures safely
  • Prepare service reports and update CRM with work results
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting issues by phone or on-site
  • Escalate critical issues per procedure and ensure resolution
  • Work with customers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain installation and product quality
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge through self-training and formal courses
  • Follow health, safety, and quality standards throughout all tasks

About you:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline
  • 3 5 years experience in service/field engineering within power electronics, UPS, or similar technical field
  • Knowledge of DC power and AC UPS systems preferred
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organisational abilities
  • Service-minded, proactive, and team-oriented
